William Sheppard, an African American man who God called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Spirit of God led him to preach the gospel in the motherland of Africa where he witnessed the violent injustices against the Congolese people. He took a stand in his faith to bring international attention to expose these injustices to the world. What injustices are you seeing every day that burden and break your heart? It is time to do something about them.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for salvation in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Empower us to be bold in our faith and take a stand against all injustices. In Jesus name, amen.
