Virgil Lee Amos accepted Jesus Christ and began serving Christ at a young age. The Lord did not limit his opportunities to serve because he was young or because he was an African American or because he was a man. Will you limit your ability to serve the Lord and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ because of your age, your stage of life, or your gender? The Lord wants to use you just as you are, and he will give you the ability to finish your assignment strong.
Prayer: Dear God, I know this world is not always accepting of the beauty and diversity of our culture and our people. I ask you Lord to help me to embrace all of me despite what the world says about me. Lord, I receive your strength and courage now to fulfill my assignment in the earth so that I may receive the crown that is laid up for me when this life is over. In Jesus name, amen.
