Adult Discipleship
Purpose or Mission of Ministry:
Discipleship is a 3 year ministry program that stands on the scripture Matthew 28:19-20. We seek to equip believers with the tools to understand God's plan for their lives through the study and application of scripture, encouraging the development of a consistent prayer life and serving/supporting church outreach efforts.

Meeting dates and time for the ministry?
Discipleship classes are held on Monday evenings, Tuesday mornings, Tuesday evenings, Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
How and when to sign up to join the ministry?
Discipleship registristration takes place in the fall of each year.
Barnabas Ministry
Purpose or Mission of Ministry:
Provide a safe place for grieving persons to obtain support through their grieving process.

Divine 9 Ministry
Purpose or Mission of Ministry:
The Divine 9 ministry of the New Psalmist Baptist Church is a collaborative ministry composed of historically African American fraternities and sororities, also known as Black Greek Organizations. It’s purpose is to connect and build supportive networks to serve the needs of the community.

Global Outreach Mission Ministry
Purpose or Mission of Ministry:
The Global Outreach Mission Ministry will fulfill the vision of New Psalmist Baptist Church by: mobilizing people to serve and go into the world to create transformative experiences in-person and online, to help persons see how the word and faith work in real life situations; and to build local and global cross cultural connections with humility, so persons will know and experience the love of God in the situations they are facing.

Purpose or Mission of Ministry:
To revive and reconnect Older Adults and encourage new persons to join us to become a more diverse group. We will also endeavor to further enhance their spiritual growth by continually studying the Word of God, fellowship, and games. To provide opportunities for members to use their spiritual gifts, wisdom, and experiences to “give back” what they have learned about life living. To structure and implement the ministry’s purpose (with assistance from “team wisdom”).

STEMcx inspires underrepresented minority (URM) students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by offering academic support, hands-on learning, and interactions with STEM professionals of color.

Purpose or Mission of Ministry:
Local Missions Ministry supports missions work all over the Baltimore region and across the nation where we can spread the message of Christ, challenge social injustices, and help make life better for others. We believe that unmet physical and emotional needs can prevent a person from receiving the message of Christ and that they are often due to structural evil, social injustice and marginalization.
